If you want to find jobs that match my resume, stop treating the job board search box as the main matching system. Start with a career profile built from your real experience, then compare that profile with live public ATS postings. This gives you a ranked shortlist instead of the same PDF sent into a wide stream of loosely related results.

Job Radar lets you run that search. You choose Find jobs for me. It filters and ranks public career-page postings against the same career profile used for the resume agent, then scores the shortlist in the way a tailored CV is scored against a job description. You receive an email when the board is ready.

Why title searches miss good matches

A title is a weak summary of a job. Two employers can use the same title for different work. The reverse also happens: similar work can appear under different titles.

A broad search for one title creates two problems:

  • It returns roles that repeat the title but do not fit your actual experience.
  • It hides adjacent roles whose titles differ even though the work, tools, seniority, or setting may suit your profile.

Adding more title variations can make the result list larger without making it better. That is keyword spraying, not matching. A profile match starts with the facts behind your work. It can consider the complete pattern instead of one phrase in a search box.

The public ATS corpus snapshot dated September 15, 2026 contained 579,828 active postings. The boards included Greenhouse, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Ashby, Lever, Breezy, Teamtailor, Recruitee, Rippling, Pinpoint, Personio, BambooHR, and Join, along with similar company career pages. The source is different from a LinkedIn scrape. Job Radar does not ingest LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, or Workday.

The full corpus had a workplace mix of 65% onsite, 17% hybrid, and 18% remote. That matters when you expect a title search to return mostly remote work. A remote filter can reduce the available set, and a remote label still has to look hireable in your country.

Generic search versus profile matching

Use this example to understand the difference. It is a process comparison, not a promise that every profile will produce the same result.

Search methodStarting pointLikely resultNext action
Generic job-board searchA title and a few keywordsA large list with mixed fit and repeated titlesOpen many postings and judge them one at a time
Profile matchYour career profile, with an optional resume uploadA ranked set of live postings compared with your profileRead the card, inspect the posting, and decide whether to apply
One-posting keyword testA specific job description and your PDFMissing terms and visible gaps for that postingFix only accurate omissions before applying

The key change is the unit of work. In a generic search, you keep changing the query. In a profile match, you improve the source profile once, then use it to review a board of roles.

If your resume layout is hiding your name or contact details, fix that before relying on it as profile input. The guide on resume header setup covers a simple Word layout check. Keep every fact accurate. A match is useful only when the profile represents work you can support in an application and interview.

How the Radar ranking and score work

Your career profile is the reference point. An optional resume upload can add the information in that file to the profile. After you run Find jobs for me, the system filters the available postings, ranks the shortlist, and scores each match in the same general way a tailored CV is read against a job description.

Read the score as a prioritization aid. It is not an employer decision. It is not a Workday or Greenhouse number. Do not treat a high score as a guarantee of an interview, or a lower score as proof that you cannot do the work.

The score can help you seeThe score cannot prove
How closely your profile fits the postingThat an employer will shortlist you
Which roles deserve your first reviewThat the employer's ATS gives the same number
Where a tailored CV may need attentionThat you should claim experience you do not have
How several matched postings compareThat the posting is still open after you apply

A card is a starting point, not the application itself. Open the posting. Check the employer's requirements, location, work arrangement, closing details, and application route. Confirm that the duties match what you want to do. Then tailor the application using only facts from your profile.

How to read a matched job card

Use a fixed review order so a high score does not rush you into a poor application.

1. Check the location and work arrangement

Job Radar prefers your candidate city. Remote roles stay in the results only when the posting looks hireable in that country. Confirm the location and any stated working arrangement on the original posting. A role marked remote may still have country or time-zone limits.

2. Check the work itself

Read the main duties, not only the title. Ask whether the work resembles your documented experience. Look for the parts you can explain with a project, responsibility, result, or other evidence. If the role asks for something absent from your background, do not add it just to improve a match.

3. Check the requirements

Separate a true requirement from a preference. Compare the posting with your profile and note the gaps. Some gaps are wording issues. Others are real experience gaps. The second type needs an honest decision, not a keyword edit.

4. Check the source and route

Follow the public career-page link. Confirm that the posting is current and that the application goes through the stated employer or ATS route. Job Radar matches public postings, but you still need to verify the live page before submitting.

What to do when one posting looks close

Use a single-posting test when you are already considering a role. The ATS resume checker accepts a resume PDF and a pasted job description. It reports a match score, missing keywords, and gaps. The result is a scan from the tool, not the employer's Workday or Greenhouse number. The PDF is scanned for the result and is not saved to an account.

The job description keyword extractor can list must-haves, tools, and nice-to-haves from a pasted description. An optional resume PDF shows which terms already appear in the file. Use it to find accurate wording you overlooked. Do not add a skill you do not have.

These tools test one posting. They do not replace a profile-based search across live roles. The Radar workflow is for finding and ranking the board. The single-posting tools are for checking a role you have chosen to inspect.

Free and Pro use

The free experience gives you one promo search. It returns 10 cards, with 5 readable and the rest locked. That is enough to test whether the profile and location settings produce useful matches.

Pro includes the first run plus daily new unique jobs, up to 50 readable matches, and Generate CV on a match. Generate CV starts the CV flow from a readable match. It uses your profile facts, rather than inventing experience for the posting.

You can sign up or start the trial when you are ready. The trial lasts 7 days and does not require a card. Chat can browse jobs already on your board, but it does not start a new corpus search. Run Find jobs for me when you need the board populated.

Complete these steps before you open the Radar board:

  • Add the roles, responsibilities, tools, and outcomes you can support.
  • Upload a resume if you want it included in the career profile.
  • Remove unsupported claims, inflated titles, and skills you cannot explain.
  • Set the candidate city you want the search to prefer.
  • Decide which workplace arrangements you can accept.
  • Review the resume layout so your name and contact details are easy to find.
  • Run Find jobs for me in Job Radar.
  • Wait for the email that says the board is ready.
  • Read the full posting behind each promising card.

The order matters. A weak profile produces a weak shortlist. Fixing the profile is more useful than adding another page of generic keywords.

Apply today checklist

Start with the readable matches, not the highest number alone.

  • Open each promising card and verify the original career-page posting.
  • Confirm city, country eligibility, and onsite, hybrid, or remote terms.
  • Compare the duties with evidence in your profile.
  • Mark wording gaps separately from real experience gaps.
  • Tailor the CV with accurate facts only.
  • Check the application fields before submitting.
  • Save the posting link and date for your records.
  • Submit the strongest application today.
  • Return to the board for new matches if you use Pro.

If your goal is to find jobs that match my resume, make the profile the search input. Then let Job Radar reduce the live posting list to roles worth reading, while you make the final decision from the original job page.

Questions

How can I find jobs that match my resume without searching LinkedIn?
Build a career profile from your real experience and use [Job Radar](https://yourunique.cv/job-radar) to match it against live public ATS postings from company career pages and similar recruitment systems. It does not ingest LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, or Workday.
What does the Job Radar score mean?
The score is a fit and tailored-CV read against the job posting. It helps rank and compare matches. It is not the employer's Workday or Greenhouse score, and it does not guarantee an interview.
Does Job Radar include remote jobs?
Yes, when a remote posting looks hireable in the candidate's country. Job Radar prefers the candidate city, so a remote label does not automatically make every remote role a match.
Can I generate a CV for a matched job?
On Pro, you can use Generate CV on a readable match. It starts a CV flow from the match and uses profile facts only. You can also test one posting with the [ATS resume checker](https://yourunique.cv/free-tools/ats-resume-checker), which reports a scan result but does not rewrite the CV.
